Happiness is a leopard print changing mat: Review Changing bag Tiba + Marl

At the beginning of 2016 I will start life as a mum of two, to a newborn and an active toddler, to prepare myself for this I have decided I need a good rucksack, so I can be hands free and move quick! I was looking for something a bit different for a while then I came across the Elwood backpack by Tiba and Marl, this a new company formed by two mums that were previous buyers at TopShop and Kurt Geiger. I ordered the Tiba and Marl Elwood rucksack in Leopard print and it comes with the following

Clutch bag, this can used for a smaller portable changing bag big enough for nappies, wipes, bags and cream or you can wear it (if you ever go out again)

When investing in such an important purchase I would usually research the product online and visit the shop as I prefer to see and feel the quality of the product before I buy it. However on this occasion I really loved the leopard print design and style of Elwood but did have some reservations. My main concern was about it looking dirty quickly especially the bottom of the bag because of white background print. However upon arrival it’s clear the material can easily be wiped and cleaned, it also has a black bottom with metal feet.

The attention to detail on this bag is amazing, all zips are leather lined, the zips are big and good quality and come with Tiba and Marl leather tab. Everything about this bag feels like it is in for the long haul, I also like the Tiba and Marl text in the leopard print its self.

I found with my 1st child it was the little things that kept me going when times were tough and with a newborn and toddler I know this bag is always going to cheer me up. I’m really happy with my purchase and I’m not waiting till next year I’m using it now.

Here’s a link to what’s in the bag now it’s in full swing with 2 children  http://wp.me/p5EQ5f-9q

    Hi
When the bag isn’t stuffed is it super floppy? I loathe backpacks that just flop about. I use a fjallraven kanken at the moment but I miss compartments and you’re so right, with two kids a rucksack nappy bag is the way forward!

Hi, it’s not really floppy, all the photos I’ve put up there was nothing in the bag apart from the changing mat, which is really big so it’s pretty stable, it’s also got little feet on the bottom that help it stand up. X

Looks lush! Their website says it can hang off the pram using the shoulder straps. Have you tried? I wondered if it hung securely or was a bit bulky? I don’t want to keep boshing my knees into it.

Happiness is leopard print anything! 🙂

Thanks for reading the review, I love this bag. So it works perfectly on a maclaren stroller style and I tested it on Phil and teds and it does hook over as the straps are big but could be a little bulky. 😀
